Synopsis
Young Cinder and Captain Thorne are fugitives on the run, with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together they're plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and her army.Their best hope lies with Cress, who has been trapped on a satellite since childhood with only her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker; unfortunately, she's just received orders from Levana to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.
When a daring rescue goes awry, the group is separated. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing stop her marriage to Emperor Kai. Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only ones who can.
MY REVIEW
I'm so glad I'm reading this series! Cress was just a new obsession. You know like the whole Disney Princess obsession yeah. That kind of obsession. So far I've met a couple of famous characters along my journey to finish the Lunar Chronicles, such as, Cinder (AKA Cinderella), Scarlet (AKA Little Red Riding Hood),and now Cress (AKA Rapunzel). Cress is this amazing, lovable, childish girl who has been locked away in a satellite since she can remember. Cress has the ability to hack into any net screen and spy on earth, which Queen Levana gives her orders to track Cinder and her accomplice's. Meanwhile Marissa Meyer pulled the ability to shift POV's and intertwined Cinder, Thorne, Scarlet, and Wolf with Cress. Cinder and her accomplice are still being chased by Queen Levana and her minions. Emperor Kai and Queen Levana are prepping for something
I'm really enjoying this series and can't wait to get my hands on Fairest. I'm also excited and nervous at how big Winter is. hehe.
Happy reading!
