Synopsis

Lou Clark knows lots of things. She knows how many footsteps there are between the bus stop and home. She knows she likes working in The Buttered Bun tea shop and she knows she might not love her boyfriend Patrick.

What Will doesn't know is that Lou is about to burst into his world in a riot of colour. And neither of them knows they're going to change the other for all timeWill Traynor knows his motorcycle accident took away his desire to live. He knows everything feels very small and rather joyless now and he knows exactly how he's going to put a stop to that. What Lou doesn't know is she's about to lose her job or that knowing what's coming is what keeps her sane.

Review

Earlier this weekend, the trailer for the movie was released. I knew I had to read the book before seeing the trailer and pretty soon, it was all anyone was talking about and posting about.

I quickly jumped onto the bandwagon and gave it a go. My first Jojo Moyes book. And it was quite a fast read. The story was laid out completely open from the start and it takes you from one adventure to the next. It brought up countless moral issues that it's hard to justify what is right or wrong. Overall, the story was very bittersweet.

Now, book read, trailer watched. Wow... the scenes were exactly how I imagined in my head except for the hideous wardrobe, ouch. I believe Sam Claflin and Emilia Clarke are made for this role! I'm excited and can't wait for the release in June
