My life is simple, as long as I follow the rules.
1. Don't leave the apartment.
2. Never let anyone in.
3. Don't kill anyone.
I've obeyed these rules for three years. But rules were made to be broken.
My Review
Let be honest they had me at equal parts Dexter and 50 Shade. I absolutely love this book.
This book was absolutely fantastic, it was fast-paced book. I try to remember the last time I read a book that I didn't want to put it down.
This book is about Deanna Madden who is a psychopath and a murderer.
In beginning of the story you learn that she has killed somebody but you don't know the details about it until later into the story. So to keep herself from killing she lock herself away in apartment and she has been staying there for three years.
So essentially she has killed someone and that was the trigger for her breakdown and so she locked herself away so that she wouldn't do it to anyone else.
When she was younger her mother killed her siblings, father and then killed herself. She has no family and is all only in the world.
So this is where things get interesting. She has no family or friends. How can she afford to pay rent for an apartment for the pass three years and buy food?
She is a camgirl and if you don't know what a camgirl is, basically what she does is live online one-on-one video chat with people where she does things that are of a sexual nature. She is the number 3 camgirl for the site she work on.
She does not lock her door. She's always hoping that people will come into her apartment so she can kill them. She reasoning that if they come in she cannot be responsible for what happened.
There is a lot of sex and sexual activities in this book so if you are not comfortable with that, stay away from this book. Also, thing get very graphic in terms of violence later into the book when things get freaking insane.
I highly recommend.
