Double-crossed and badly weakened, the crew is low on resources, allies, and hope. As powerful forces from around the world descend on Ketterdam to root out the secrets of the dangerous drug known as jurda parem, old rivals and new enemies emerge to challenge Kaz’s cunning and test the team's fragile loyalties. A war will be waged on the city’s dark and twisting streets―a battle for revenge and redemption that will decide the fate of the Grisha world.

Review
Mind blown.
Truly epic.

This is everything I look for in a good story. Humor. Adventure. One scheme leading to the next. I feel like the fantasies I've been reading up to this point pales in comparison. The bar is set high.

The plots written in this book are just genius. The setbacks and fails, totally didn't see them coming. Kaz Brekker truly lived up to his character. He raised the bar on so many levels for me as a great character.

I've fallen deeply with the other characters as well. Nina and Inej are my new favorites. And the dynamic between Nina, Inej, and Jesper has me on the floor laughing. Wylan and Matthias mean so much more in this book. I would love to see fan fics or side stories especially if there is a Nina/Matthias or Nina/Inej combination.

There was so much feels and so many possible future outcomes. I can't believe a story can be like this.
