This quote is taken from Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater, my current favorite fantasy author. Her words are breathtaking, chilling, and beautiful. She paints a world of vivid imagery that is both captivating and pure joy.

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell, my newest contemporary fave and I don't read contemporary so that's saying something! :) I simply gush over this book (see my review here).

Oh how I miss these books. Not going to lie I was a major fangirl when Twilight was "in" and this quote will forever be my FAVE. & I don't regret reading them or fangirling over them. It's an epic love story.

"Why don't you understand?" He looks at me his eyes full of pain and desperation. "I love you." He breaks.

"I love you and it isn't enough. I thought it would be enough and I was wrong. I thought I could fight for you and I was wrong."

This is from Ignite Me (Shatter Me #3) by Tahereh Mafi. The third book is literally dripping with whoos and ahhs. Can it get any hotter? Took a long time for Juliette to wake up! Take a look at who is the better guy for you, Juliette! heh heh.

"I wish you could be kissed, Jane," he said. "Because I would beg just one off you. Under all this." He flailed an arm toward the stars. "And then we’d never say anything about it again."

I want something more.

She said, "We can pretend. Just once. And then we’ll never say anything about it again." He pressed his cheek against hers. His lips didn’t touch her skin, but she felt his breath, hot and uneven, on her face. His fingers splayed on either side of her spine. Her lips were so close to his jaw that she felt his hint of stubble at the end of them. This is from The Dream Thieves (The Raven Cycle #2) by Maggie Stiefvater. Richard C. Gansy III is by no means the typical boyfriend type. However, when he found out that Blue Sargent cannot be kissed because of a Curse, he started to develop strong feelings for her. Chapters upon chapters of them testing the limits but not tasting can make any girl swoon.

This is from Catching Fire (The Hunger Games #2) by Suzanne Collins. The Hunger Games is one of my all time favorite series.
