Review
Adventure, time travel, intrigue.

The story is not what I expected. There is blackmail. And pirates. And one family that is so corrupted, he almost completely wiped out an entire world.

The rules of a traveler is complex and far outside of the norm. A traveler exists outside of time. He is from every era. If his original time is shifted (altered or destroyed), he will not cease to exist but become trapped in a wrinkle.

This story enfolds beautifully to show a complex world and the players in it. I came up with alternate endings and Alexandra Bracken threw an unexpected curveball. The story clearly led me to believe certain players would bring about the end to the book...well nicely played.

The only reason I rated the book 4/5 is because I felt the characters needed more work. I enjoyed the progression of the story and how wonderfully each adventure tied to one another but I did not feel much for the characters. That's the only part that could use development.

    1. Awesome thanks!! Yeah this book is most anticipated read and it was not what I expected. I imagined the story more like The Time Traveler's Wife and clearly it was not haha.
