Synopsis

Cinder is back and trying to break out of prison—even though she'll be the Commonwealth's most wanted fugitive if she does—in this second installment from Marissa Meyer.

Halfway around the world, Scarlet Benoit's grandmother is missing. It turns out there are many things Scarlet doesn't know about her grandmother, or the grave danger she has lived in her whole life. When Scarlet encounters Wolf, a street fighter who may have information as to her grandmother's whereabouts, she is loath to trust this stranger, but is inexplicably drawn to him, and he to her. As Scarlet and Wolf unravel one mystery, they encounter another when they meet Cinder. Now, all of them must stay one step ahead of the vicious Lunar Queen Levana.

MY REVIEW/THOUGHTS

When did this book consume my life! This book was sooo good! I'm so impressed with how Marissa Meyer tide in these two main characters into one whole book. Starting with Scarlet and her famous grandmother. Her grandmother is the reason why Scarlet meets Wolf (that's his actual name in the book....but he is also a wolf...like the animal *cough*). Scarlet's grandmother is missing and Wolf is the only person who knows about where she might be, and Scarlet is not sure she can trust him. Turns out they are both sort of into each other but like one of Facebook's relationship status IT'S COMPLICATED lol. As they go on this complicated journey to find Scarlet's grandmother, they run into Cinder, who has escaped from prison. Cinder being the most wanted person on the planet meets convict Carswell Thorne (prison break re-telling? jk). As a team they try to stay off of the Lunar Queen's radar. Aaaand I'll stop there because I would probably end up spoiling it for you guys! I'm currently reading book three of the Lunar Chronicles and so far I LOVE!
